Description

Jesus sent out the 12 Disciples, and then they returned to share all they had done. Sandwiched in the middle of the story is the narrative of the execution of John the Baptist. Disciples do not serve as a pathway to public honor and popular acclaim, but must reckon with the need to be willing to lay down their lives should the need arise.
