Desmond Doss was a devout Seventh-day Adventist and a conscientious objector during World War II. Despite his refusal to carry or use a weapon due to his religious beliefs, Doss served as a medic in the United States Army and became one of the most celebrated war heroes. Amid intense fighting on Hacksaw Ridge in the Battle of Okinawa, Doss single-handedly saved 75 men as he prayed “just one more.” He is an incredible example for soldiers of Christ today as we, through His power, pray to save “just one more.” #GlobalTMI
