The great story of Noah is summarized in just one verse, verse 7 of Hebrews 11, "By faith, Noah being warned by God about things not yet seen in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household by which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith." A life of faith is always backed by action. We come to God by faith, but once we hear the message, we live it and act according to the WORD. Noah had nothing but the word of God. He just preached the word, build the ark, stocked the ark and had to get into the ark and stay in for 7 days before the door was shut! He endured the jeers the laughter and the embarrassment of being awkward and being "crazy." Your salvation is hinged on the ark that you will build in obedience to God's word. Keep building, keep working, never mind the jeers. May God finally shut you (and your family, your friends and community) inside the ark and thus save you through your ministration of obedience to His Word.
