In today’s top stories: Freelance collaborators and communicators gather for three days in São Paulo, Brazil, with General Conference communication leaders, a first for the region. Indonesia draws over 200 participants at its Adventist Bible and Science Educators’ Conference and reinforces the biblical worldview of creation and science for educators. A new ADRA headquarters opens in El Salvador, strengthening its humanitarian commitment in the region. The new location features over 100 trained volunteers. From October 12-15, 2023, the “I Will Go Amazônia Experience” is set to take place in the Amazonas and will provide participants with practical mission experience. The STORMCo initiative, operated by the Australian Union Conference, hosts its first mission trip to Laos. Laos is communist-controlled and 95 percent Buddhist.
