Was the Abrahamic covenant for all Christians, all people, or only for the Jews? Are there any Scriptures that show this? 3. How can a layperson know when the Bible is literal or not? I watched another Adventist program and the speaker often talks about passages, such as feeding the 5000 the fishes and the loaves and says it wasn’t something that literally happened, it’s an allegory of how Jesus was spreading the word among 5000 - He fed them with the Word. If this is true then how are we to know then which parts are literal and which are not? Who decided that creation is literal and real, rather than a story, yet other passages are not meant to be taken literally? 4. What does cancel culture mean? Can you explain this? Is this something especially American or is it a global phenomenon? Is this a biblical subject? 5. I am familiar with the last-day signs listed in Matthew 24. My question is about Revelation 6 which seems to list some of the same signs as Matthew 24:29 except these are listed under the sixth plague. Are these a reference to Matthew 24:29 or is there to be a repeat performance under the sixth plague? 6. When did the Adventist church change from closed Communion to open Communion? 7. If God told Peter to eat pork in the New Testament, and also scolded him for initially refusing to obey God since he still saw the meat as unclean, why do you insist upon saying others should still not eat pork if God clearly instructed Peter to do so? 8. Does God make a mistake? If NO explain please these verses. 1 Samuel 15:11 "It repenteth Me that I have set up Saul to be King..." Here as well: 1 Samuel 15:35 "...and the Lord repented that He had made Saul king over Israel." 9. If I prepare my food on Friday but have to warm it up on Sabbath, is that breaking the Sabbath? 10. How should I obtain the fruits of being faithful? 11. What does it mean in the Bible when it says about eating dead and the decomposing of bodies? 12. My family members who have been born Seventh-day Adventists recently denounced and renounced the faith. They went on to say that Sister White is a false prophet and that the Sabbath is no more. When I asked about the Ten Commandments, they said that it's no longer important as God was speaking to the Israelites. I am hurt and am still shocked that they would go this far. Please shed some light on this.
