In the first of a three part mini-series, Herb Larsen addresses the question of how does someone have a dynamic relationship with Jesus? The first step is to acknowledge that you have a problem, because if you don't see a problem, you're not going to want a solution. The trouble is our hearts deceive us into thinking we're fine without Christ. The Bible tells us differently, however, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). This is God's assessment of our condition -- the only one that matters and that we need to respond to. Spend time with Jesus in the Word and in prayer because the closer you get to Him, the more He illuminates your filth, where you will finally know the need for His amazing grace.
