Interrupted Healing | Discover Jesus | Tim Gillespie | Newday Adventist Church
Description
Have you ever felt caught in the chaos—desperate, waiting, wondering if it's too late? In this message, I walk through one of the most chaotic moments in Jesus' ministry. A dying child. A desperate father. A woman who shouldn't even be there. A crowd pressing in from every side. And Jesus—somehow never in a hurry. Mark tells this story the way life actually happens: messy, interrupted, and completely out of order. Two healings happening at once. A synagogue leader who collapses in public. A woman who's been bleeding for 12 years—exiled, untouched, invisible. And Jesus stops for both of them. What we discover is this: Jesus heals across every social boundary. The delay is not denial. Healing is relational before it's physical. And Jesus is not intimidated by death—not the biological kind, the social kind, or the spiritual kind. Some of us are like Jairus—responsible, terrified, praying for someone we love. Some of us are like the woman—tired, unseen, hoping no one notices how desperate we are. Some of us are stuck in the delay, waiting while Jesus seems focused somewhere else. And some of us are standing outside the room saying, "It's too late." Jesus answers all of it the same way: with presence, with touch, with words that wake the dead. We are not saved by being right. We are saved by Jesus Christ. And the more we get to know him, the more we discover we're invited into the wondrous mystery of who God is—not to have all the answers, but to walk together in faith, joy, and conversation. 📍 Join us at Newday Adventist Church, Parker, CO 🕚 Saturdays at 11:15 AM | 9030 Miller Road 🎥 Watch live or catch the replay right here on YouTube. #DiscoverJesus #FaithOverCertainty #HealingMinistry #ChristianFaith #LivingByFaith #NewdayChurch
