Listening to the mission stories from Camp Polaris being read in his junior Sabbath school, 11-year-old Micah wanted to do something to help the children who were attending the camp in Alaska. They needed new mattresses, and a bathroom with showers. He didn’t have much, but he gave what he could for the Thirteenth Sabbath Mission Offering. Little did he know that just six years later, he would be helping the children at Camp Polaris again—this time as a camp counselor!
