It shouldn’t surprise us then that Paul weaves his own personal story into the book of Galatians. He tells his story not to uplift himself but to point to the fact that he was called by God to preach the gospel of Christ. Paul shows us in this passage that the reason he is so unashamedly forthright in preaching the gospel is because his authority comes from Christ himself.
