Natalia Carrasco, Ellie Penman & Landon Asscherick / 28 November 2020 We are often told by the world that surrender means to submit, to give in, indicating defeat.  However, our youth expressed the truth of what it means to surrender in a relationship of trust with a God who wants the best for us, who loves us perfectly and personally and is always with us. A God who has overcome death! Living a surrendered life isn’t just the times when we are on our knees in prayer or in our devotions; we live a surrendered life when we fully accept what Jesus has already achieved for us! In order to experience surrender, we need to realise we have a personal need for it. At the end of the day, we realise that we have no choice but to surrender to something. We either surrender to death; or we surrender to a God who has conquered death!  We surrender to the VICTORY which Christ has won for us. Once we have surrendered, we are victorious in Jesus. Living a life of surrender to the will of God, means an alignment of our will with His, whose desire is that all would be saved and for us to help others to see the beauty in surrendering to the wonderful truth of Jesus. Hallelujah! What a Saviour. What a message.
