Unlike the so-called gods of ancient paganism, who were fickle and cruel, Yahweh is unchanging in His goodness, deeply concerned with righteousness, and opposed to evil, injustice, and oppression. God's moral character is perfect and constant, as demonstrated in passages like Deuteronomy 32:4 and James 1:17. The lesson explores how divine justice and mercy intertwine, highlighting that God's judgment against evil brings deliverance for the oppressed. It challenges believers to reflect God's love and justice in their own lives. Key Verse - “But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
