Isaiah 25:6 says, "the Lord himself will prepare a banquet for all the people and he will give them fat meat to eat with the best aged wines." In other places, God forbids to eat animal fat and to drink wine. Please explain these contradictions. 2. Please tell us what the word "bosom" means? The Bible talks about Abraham's bosom and God's bosom. Some believe it is a place where the people of the OT are placed until some future time. Some believe that people are still being placed there at death. Would you please clarify this? 3. In Ezekiel 18, God tells the people and Israel that they cannot use the proverb anymore. Can you explain? 4. During a recent Sabbath School I asked the question, "is it possible for a Christian to reach a place where he does not sin anymore?" The Sabbath School teacher said "No". From what I understand in the Bible it is possible with daily and constant surrender of our hearts. Am I on the right track? 5. In Genesis God says “be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it”. Does that mean that it’s a sin not to have children if you can when you’re married? 6. We are all God's children, right? The Holy Spirit dwells in us all, correct? If we are all God's Temple then only holy and good can be there! If that is so, then Why/how can an evil spirit possess and attack or even destroy a child at will? I am speaking of a child of 8 - 12 years old. 7. Is there a difference in Crowns being rewarded & for what purposes? 8. When do we interpret a text as literal or spiritual? A friend insists that the Sabbath is now spiritual, not literal, interpreting Matthew 11:28-30 and Hebrews 4:9. Another reason he believes that Sabbath is not literal is that we don't have a universal sabbath because of time differences. Can you please help clarify these texts? 9. Please explain binding and loosing in Matthew 17:19 and 18:18? 10. Is Heaven different from the New Jerusalem? If yes, will there be saints living outside the main city who’ll only come there from moon to moon? 11. In 1 Timothy 6:20, Paul warns Timothy to avoid "oppositions of science falsely so-called." Can you explain what "Science falsely so-called" means? 12. I have family and friends who are Baptist and tell me that we are living in the New Testament. I was looking for information online but when I found something it said covenant/New Testament. Is that saying that it is true? Can you please explain this to me? 13. In reference to Matthew 11:11, Jesus called him the greatest. But then He goes on to say the least in the kingdom is greater than the Baptist. Please, I need help to understand this statement. 14. When was the last time that the Ark of the Covenant was mentioned in the Bible? Please provide Book, chapter, and verse. Also, where did it go? 15. Please explain Jeremiah 31:31-34 because many Christians believe that a new covenant was made with them in the New Testament. However, I cannot find any biblical scripture stating that God the Father or Jesus Christ the Son ever made a covenant with gentiles. Even during His ministry and His earthly life, Jesus never ministered to gentiles; only to His sheep (Jews). Gentiles have been grafted in but no covenant was made with them. There is a difference.
