This week on MelVee Sabbath School we shared Lesson 2 from Quarter 3 of 2017 in which the guest panelists of Bruce Mutaurwa, Sithandile Mpofu and Nixon Kadiramwando discuss Paul's Authority and Gospel as taught in the Book of Galatians. This is a critical lesson as the Protestant world is getting ready to celebrate the 500th year anniversary of Protestant Reformation which was underpinned by the Book of Galatians. This book (of Galatians) remains a backbone of the Protestant Reformation because in it, Paul uses rich themes in a powerful personal and impassioned pastoral tone that can’t help but touch hearts open to the Spirit of God. He tackles key issues such as Christian freedom in Christ, the role of the law in salvation, our condition in Christ, and the nature of the Spirit-led life, as well as the age-old question, how can sinful humans be made right before a holy and just God?
